Art in the Park

Art in the Park will be a celebration of local art with music provided by Stokes Junior Appalachian Musicians. Bring your chair, your watercolors and paper, your creative spirit and join us (rain or shine).

The event will feature:

• Plein Air Art – Local artists will gather Saturday morning to paint scenes from the park. Later in the day, those works will be auctioned to the public.

• Fly tying – A local fly fisherman will share secrets of the art of fly tying.

• Watercolor workshop – Our resident artist will lead a watercolor workshop

• Ceramic workshop – a local potter will encourage your creative spirit with your hands in wet clay.

This event is free and open to the public.
